Wunmi is a one of a kind person – dancer, singer, songwriter, clothing designer and theatrical costume designer. In 2009, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts mounted an exhibition Women Designers in the Performing Arts and hired Robert Penn productions to record an interview of Wunmi talking about clothing design and movement on the stage. We created this short from excerpts of that interview and clips we have shot over the years of Wunmi’s dance costumes in performances by Evidence Dance Company.
