Robert Penn's clients include The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The New York Public Library, Evidence, A Dance Company, American Ballet Theater and Citylore, Inc. When a client commissions his services, Robert plans the shoot, selects the crew to fit and then works as Director of Photography and/or Editor.

The year 2009 has already presented Robert with many Production, Post-Production and Digital Content Delivery opportunities!

Robert and crew documented a series of seminars that The Carnegie Corporation and The Kennedy Center held in New York. Robert is currently editing and transcoding these seminars for constituent use on The Kennedy Center’s artsmanager website.

Robert also worked as Cinematographer for a forthcoming documentary about Sierra Leone, West Africa. During the April 2009 location shoot, Robert used the production’s rented Panasonic HPX500 shoulder mount ENG digital video camera to capture HD footage in Freetown, the capital, and among the Kuranko people of northeast Sierra Leone.
